She has focused intently on the role of exercise and behavioral changes to keep the brain healthy. Her televised program on Milwaukee Public Television examining ways to “Boost YourBrain” was quite impressive and focused on new integrated and empirically based changes to help people live longer and healthier lives by minimizing cognitive decline. She is a leading expert in the field of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and has served on numerous committees tasked with improving dementia care and access.     Dr. Braun is a multifaceted healthcare provider who, in my own experience, inspires others toward excellence. She has taken on leadership roles on the American Academy of Clinical NeuropsychologyBoard of Directors, and serves as a mentor and examiner for aspiring board-certified neuropsychologists.
